Bagmati Provincial Assembly to present policy and programme today



HETAUDA: The policy and programme of the Bagmati Provincial Government for the upcoming fiscal year 2083/84 is set to be presented today in the Provincial Assembly.

According to Secretary of the Provincial Assembly Secretariat Ram Kumar Paudel, today’s meeting scheduled for 5:00 pm includes the agenda for presenting the government’s policies and programmes for the next fiscal year, as approved by Provincial Chief Deepak Prasad Devkota.

He added that discussion on the principles and priorities of the Appropriation Bill for fiscal year 2083/84, excluding tax proposals, will also begin from today.

In Monday’s meeting, Minister for Economic Affairs and Planning Prabhat Tamang had presented the principles and priorities of the Appropriation Bill for the upcoming fiscal year, excluding tax-related provisions.

Secretary Paudel said the agenda for discussion has been included in today’s Provincial Assembly meeting.
