RSP Central Committee unanimously approves formation of parliamentary party; Balen Shah set to lead



KATHMANDU: The Central Committee of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has unanimously approved the formation of the party’s parliamentary party.

According to party spokesperson Manish Jha, the proposal was passed unanimously during the ongoing meeting.

Senior leader Balen Shah is now set to become the parliamentary party leader and Nepal’s new Prime Minister.

The proposal was presented and approved within five minutes of the meeting’s start. A parliamentary party meeting is scheduled to follow immediately.
