Gold price up by Rs 14,600



KATHMANDU: The price of gold in the Nepali market has increased significantly on Wednesday, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.

The federation said the price of fine gold rose by Rs 14,600 per tola, reaching Rs 288,500 per tola. On Tuesday, fine gold was traded at Rs 273,900 per tola.

Similarly, the price of silver has also increased by Rs 415 per tola. Silver is being traded at Rs 4,920 per tola today, compared to Rs 4,505 per tola on Tuesday.

According to international media reports, gold is currently trading at around $4,600 per ounce in the international market, while silver is being traded at about $74 per ounce.
