545 students graduate from Nepal Open University



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister (PM) Sushila Karki awarded degrees to students from various faculties of Nepal Open University during its first convocation ceremony today.

A total of 545 students from the faculties of Science, Humanities, Education, Management, and Law graduated, with 191 students attending the ceremony in person.

Prime Minister Karki, who also serves as the Chancellor of the University, presented the Chancellor’s Medal to the top-performing students at both the Bachelor’s and Master’s levels.

Educationist and former Tribhuvan University Vice-Chancellor, Kedar Bhakta Mathema, was the chief guest of the programme.

Established in 2073 BS, Nepal Open University now offers educational programmes at the Bachelor, Master, MPhil, and PhD levels.
