Manoj Kumar Sharma appears before parliamentary hearing committee for Chief Justice hearing



KATHMANDU: Dr. Manoj Kumar Sharma, who has been recommended for the post of Chief Justice, appeared before the Parliamentary Hearing Committee on Tuesday.

During the committee meeting held at Singha Durbar, complaints filed against Sharma were distributed among committee members for study.

Following the distribution of the complaints, Sharma appeared before the parliamentary committee to respond to the allegations lodged against him.

A total of 16 complaints have been registered against Sharma at the Parliamentary Hearing Committee.

The committee also held discussions with the complainants on Tuesday after distributing the complaints.

The committee said the hearing process is expected to conclude on Tuesday itself. Following the completion of the process, Sharma is set to be confirmed as the new Chief Justice.
