NRB issues today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has published the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at Rs 153.86, while the selling rate stands at Rs 154.46.

The buying rate of one euro has been set at Rs 178.95 and the selling rate at Rs 179.64. Similarly, the buying rate of one UK pound sterling is Rs 205.48 and the selling rate is Rs 206.28. The Swiss franc is being traded at a buying rate of Rs 196.64 and a selling rate of Rs 197.40.

Likewise, the buying rate of one Australian dollar has been fixed at Rs 100.38 and the selling rate at Rs 100.77. The Canadian dollar is being exchanged at Rs 111.89 for buying and Rs 112.32 for selling, while the Singapore dollar has a buying rate of Rs 120.18 and a selling rate of Rs 120.65.

According to Nepal Rastra Bank, 10 Japanese yen have a buying rate of Rs 9.68 and a selling rate of Rs 9.72. The Chinese yuan is being traded at Rs 22.63 for buying and Rs 22.71 for selling. Likewise, the Saudi Arabian riyal has been fixed at Rs 41.00 for buying and Rs 41.16 for selling, while the Qatari riyal stands at Rs 42.21 for buying and Rs 42.38 for selling.

The buying rate of one Thai baht is Rs 4.71 and the selling rate is Rs 4.72. Similarly, the UAE dirham is being traded at Rs 41.89 for buying and Rs 42.06 for selling. The Malaysian ringgit has a buying rate of Rs 38.69 and a selling rate of Rs 38.84.

Meanwhile, 100 South Korean won are valued at Rs 10.25 for buying and Rs 10.28 for selling. The Swedish krona has been fixed at Rs 16.31 for buying and Rs 16.38 for selling, while the Danish krone stands at Rs 23.84 for buying and Rs 24.04 for selling.

Nepal Rastra Bank has also set the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at Rs 19.65 and the selling rate at Rs 19.72. The Kuwaiti dinar is being traded at Rs 501.50 for buying and Rs 503.46 for selling, while the Bahraini dinar has a buying rate of Rs 407.95 and a selling rate of Rs 409.55. Likewise, the Omani riyal has been fixed at Rs 399.63 for buying and Rs 401.19 for selling.

The buying rate of 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160, while the selling rate has been set at Rs 160.15.

Nepal Rastra Bank stated that the exchange rates may be revised at any time as required. The exchange rates determined by commercial banks may vary, and updated rates are available on the central bank’s official website.
