Gold price rises by Rs 800 per tola, silver declines slightly



KATHMANDU: The price of gold increased slightly on Monday, while silver prices declined marginally.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold has been fixed at Rs 294,800 per tola for the day, up by Rs 800 from Sunday’s rate of Rs 294,000 per tola.

Meanwhile, silver prices dropped by Rs 20 per tola. Silver is being traded at Rs 5,040 per tola on Monday, compared to Rs 5,060 per tola on Sunday.
