Two arrested with undisclosed cash in Kathmandu



KATHMANDU: Police have arrested two individuals with undisclosed cash worth Rs 1,063,840 near Jay Nepal Hall in Kathmandu Metropolitan City-1.

The Central News Room of the Police identified the arrested as 27-year-old Deepak Shrestha and 25-year-old Sunil Shrestha, both residents of Ramechhap Khandadevi Rural Municipality-5, and currently residing in Kapan, Kathmandu.

According to police, officers from Police Circle Durbarmarg intercepted the two riding a scooter (Ba Pa 02-52 Pa 6994) heading towards Nagpokhari from Hitipokhari. They were arrested along with the cash, and further investigations are underway.
