Gagan Thapa-led Nepali Congress to hold first Central Committee meeting today



KATHMANDU: The first Central Committee meeting of the Nepali Congress under the leadership of Gagan Thapa is set to take place on Thursday.

The meeting of the newly elected Central Working Committee, chosen by the party’s Second Special General Convention on Wednesday, will be held in Kupandole, Lalitpur.

According to the secretariat of General Secretary Pradip Paudel, the meeting is scheduled to begin at 11 am.

The meeting is expected to focus on the party’s immediate organizational and political agenda following the dramatic leadership change brought about by the Special General Convention.
