KATHMANDU: Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal has left for Beijing today on a four-day official visit to China at the invitation of Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during his stay, Minister Khanal will hold bilateral talks with his Chinese counterpart focused on strengthening Nepal–China relations and expanding mutual cooperation. He is also scheduled to meet other senior Chinese officials.
Minister Khanal will participate in an investment conference organized by the Nepali Embassy in Beijing, aimed at attracting foreign investment to Nepal.
The embassy will also host a reception in his honor, during which he is expected to interact with members of the Nepali community. He is scheduled to return home on June 17.
