Silver price climbs to Rs 5,745 per tola as global industrial demand rises

KATHMANDU: Gold prices increased on Thursday, with the metal rising by Rs 300 per tola in the domestic market.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, gold is now being traded at Rs 302,500 per tola, up from Rs 302,200 per tola on the previous trading day.

The federation stated that the rise in prices is in line with recent fluctuations in the international market, which has been influenced by broader economic trends and currency movements.

Meanwhile, silver prices also continued their upward trend in the domestic market.

Silver is being traded at Rs 5,745 per tola on Thursday, up from Rs 5,710.

International media reports suggest that rising global industrial demand has contributed to the recent surge in silver prices.
