Prime Minister Shah calls Cabinet meeting



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Balendra Shah has called a meeting of the Council of Ministers for Friday afternoon.

According to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat, the Cabinet meeting is scheduled to take place at 2:00 pm at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar.

The Secretariat said the meeting has been called as part of the government’s regular schedule and will discuss contemporary national issues and government affairs.

The meeting will be the first Cabinet session since Sudan Gurung was reappointed as Home Minister.

The government has also recently appointed Mahabir Pun as Minister for Science, Technology and Innovation, marking further changes in the Cabinet lineup.

Ministers are expected to discuss ongoing policy matters and current developments during the meeting.
