Pakistan’s PM congratulates Lamichhane and Shah on election success



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif has congratulated the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) for its notable success in the recent general elections in Nepal. He extended his congratulations to party Chair Rabi Lamichhane and senior leader Balendra (Balen) Shah.

In a congratulatory message addressed to the party leadership, Prime Minister Sharif said the electoral mandate reflects the strong trust Nepali citizens have placed in new and dynamic leadership.

According to the Embassy of Pakistan in Nepal, Sharif also expressed Pakistan’s willingness to work closely with Nepal’s newly elected government to further strengthen the longstanding friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
