Kathmandu Valley sees slight rise in minimum temperature



KATHMANDU: The minimum temperature in Kathmandu Valley has risen slightly compared to yesterday.

According to the Weather Forecasting Division, today at 5:45 am, Kathmandu recorded a minimum temperature of 3.6°C, up from 3.0°C at the same time on Sunday.

On Sunday, the minimum temperature at 8:45 am had dropped further to 2.8°C. Today’s official measurement will also be taken at 8:45 am, when the temperature is expected to decline from the early morning reading of 5:45 am.

The Division monitors daily minimum and maximum temperatures across the country, including Kathmandu.
