KATHMANDU: Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) Secretary and former national team captain Paras Khadka has praised outgoing national team captain Rohit Paudel for his leadership and contribution to Nepali cricket.
Khadka, in a social media post reflecting on Paudel’s captaincy, thanked him for leading the national team with pride, courage and determination while carrying the hopes of an entire nation.
“Even during extremely challenging times, you took the team to unprecedented heights,” Khadka wrote. “You succeeded in inspiring an entire generation both on and off the field.”
Khadka said he was proud of Paudel’s achievements as captain, his leadership and the legacy he has left behind.
He also stressed that Nepali cricket would continue to need Paudel’s contribution even after he steps down from the captaincy.
Khadka expressed confidence that Paudel would continue to represent Nepal with the same commitment and help raise the country’s name in the coming days.
