KATHMANDU: A meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) is scheduled for 1:00 pm today.
According to the Federal Parliament Secretariat, the meeting has an agenda to present a proposal seeking consideration of the Bill Relating to Mines and Minerals, 2083.
Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Gauri Kumari Yadav is scheduled to present the proposal before the House. Similarly, two parliamentary committee meetings are also scheduled for today.
The Public Accounts Committee, which is set to meet at 11:00 am, will discuss the protests held on Sept 8–9 and documents that were burned during the demonstrations.
Likewise, the Committee on Development, Economic Affairs and Good Governance, also meeting at 11:00 am, will hold discussions on the digital economy.
