Gold price slips slightly, silver goes up



KATHMANDU: The price of gold declined slightly in the domestic market on Monday, while silver prices recorded an increase.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of fine gold has been fixed at Rs 298,500 per tola for the day, down by Rs 400 compared to Sunday.

Gold was traded at Rs 298,900 per tola on Sunday.

Meanwhile, silver prices increased by Rs 40 per tola.

The federation has set the price of silver at Rs 5,340 per tola on Monday, compared to Rs 5,300 per tola on Sunday.
