Driver killed, three injured in jeep accident in Salyan



KATHMANDU: An SUV accident in Salyan has claimed the life of the driver and left three others injured.

The SUV (Ga 1 Ja 5661) was en route to Tulsipur from Rukum East when it met with an accident this morning near Chorkhola in Kapurkot Rural Municipality-3 along the Rapti Highway.

The deceased has been identified as 34-year-old Bijay BK of Sisne Rural Municipality-4 in Rukum East, who was driving the vehicle.

The injured include 38-year-old Lalita KC of Sisne-4, 22-year-old Sushmi Roka of Sisne-2, and her two-year-old daughter Safalta KC.

All three injured are undergoing treatment at Rapti Provincial Hospital.
