Nepali Congress special general convention: Closed session to begin Monday at 10 a.m.



KATHMANDU: The closed session of the Nepali Congress’s second special general convention will now begin at 10 a.m. on Monday. Initially scheduled for 8 a.m., the session was delayed by two hours to allow remaining delegate registrations and a designated snack break.

According to Subash Pokhrel, coordinator of the publicity subcommittee under the management team, registration and the snack period will start at 8 a.m., followed by the commencement of the closed session at 10 a.m.

As of Sunday evening, the secretariat reported that over 2,000 delegates had completed their registration. Registration was paused on Sunday after the inauguration session and dinner, and will resume Monday morning for those who could not register on the first day.
