Gold price falls, silver rises in Nepal



KATHMANDU: The price of gold declined slightly while silver became more expensive in the Nepali market on Monday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of fine gold has decreased by Rs 200 per tola to Rs 301,500.

Fine gold was traded at Rs 301,700 per tola on Sunday.

Meanwhile, the price of silver increased by Rs 25 per tola to Rs 4,670. Silver was traded at Rs 4,645 per tola on Sunday.

According to international media reports, gold was priced at around $4,322 per ounce and silver at $63 per ounce in the international market on Monday.
