Nepali Congress Central Working Committee meeting continues today



KATHMANDU: The Central Working Committee meeting of the Nepali Congress is continuing today at the party’s central office in Sanepa.

The meeting is scheduled to begin at 1 pm.

The Central Working Committee meeting, which began on Sunday, has eight key proposals on its agenda, presented by General Secretary Pradip Paudel. On the first day, party President Gagan Kumar Thapa presented his views on the overall political situation in the country.

The meeting is discussing preparations for the party’s 15th General Convention, the party’s regulations and election guidelines, and the updating and distribution of party membership.

The agenda also includes the formation of committees for preparations for the general convention and drafting amendments to the party statute.

Similarly, the meeting will discuss the evolving political situation in provincial governments, endorsement of the Central Working Committee’s decisions on membership management, Nepali Janasamparka Samitis, contemporary political issues and the statutes of the party’s sister organisations.
