NC calls opposition parties’ meeting after Parliament adjournment

KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress has called a meeting of opposition parties following the adjournment of the House of Representatives meeting.

According to Nepali Congress parliamentary party whip Nishkal Rai, chief whips and whips of opposition parties in the House of Representatives were invited to the meeting.

The meeting comes after repeated disruptions in Parliament, which led to the postponement of Tuesday’s session.

Opposition parties are expected to discuss the ongoing parliamentary deadlock and possible ways to restore the functioning of the House.
