DANG: A motorcyclist died and another person was injured after their motorcycle hit a parked truck in Lamahi Municipality of Dang on Monday morning.
According to the District Police Office Dang, the accident occurred at Ratodanda of Lamahi-5 when a motorcycle (Lu 12 Pa 9840) crashed into a stationary truck (Na 5 Kha 9336) from behind.
The deceased has been identified as 37-year-old Jeevan Giri, a resident of Hasanapur in Lamahi Municipality-7. He was taken to Lamahi Hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
Another rider, 32-year-old Dhaniram Chaudhary of the same locality, was seriously injured and is currently receiving treatment at Rapti Health Sciences Institute in Ghorahi.
