Gold price jumps by Rs 2,100 per tola



KATHMANDU: The price of gold increased by Rs 2,100 per tola on Friday in the domestic market.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, gold has been priced at Rs 267,800 per tola for the day. On the previous trading day, gold was traded at Rs 265,700 per tola.

Earlier, on December 28, 2025, the price of gold had reached an all-time high of Rs 270,600 per tola.

Meanwhile, the price of silver declined on Friday. Silver dropped by Rs 55 per tola to settle at Rs 4,780 per tola. It was traded at Rs 4,835 per tola a day earlier.

Silver had earlier touched its highest-ever price of Rs 4,935 per tola on January 7.
