Foreign ministry holds briefing on diplomatic conduct for ministers



KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has organized a special program for government ministers on foreign affairs and diplomatic code of conduct.

The program is currently underway at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers on Wednesday morning.

According to the prime minister’s private secretariat, ministers from various ministries are attending the session.

Press adviser to the prime minister Deepa Dahal said officials from the foreign ministry are briefing ministers on diplomatic protocol, the importance of adhering to the code of conduct, and its effective implementation.

She added that the discussion is also focusing on evolving global dynamics and various contemporary aspects of foreign affairs.

The prime minister’s secretariat said the program aims to make diplomatic engagements and coordination with foreign missions more systematic and dignified.
