Gold, silver prices edge up in Nepali market



KATHMANDU: Gold and silver prices posted a modest increase in the Nepali market on Friday, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.

The price of fine gold rose by Rs 900 per tola to reach Rs 296,900. It was traded at Rs 296,000 per tola on Thursday.

Similarly, silver gained Rs 10 per tola, taking its price to Rs 4,580 per tola, up from Rs 4,570 on Thursday.

According to international media reports, gold was trading at USD 4,262 per ounce in the international market, while silver was priced at USD 58 per ounce.
