Three parliamentary committees convening today



KATHMANDU: Three parliamentary committees are holding meetings today. The International Relations and Tourism Committee, the Law, Justice and Human Rights Committee, and the Infrastructure Development Committee are scheduled to convene.

The meeting of the International Relations and Tourism Committee, scheduled for 10:00 am, is set to discuss the Tourism Bill, 2081 with subject experts.

Similarly, the Law, Justice and Human Rights Committee is also scheduled to meet at 10:00 am. Its agenda includes the presentation and discussion of the report of the Study Subcommittee on the Human Rights Situation of Detainees and Prisoners in Various Prisons and Detention Facilities, 2083.

Likewise, the Infrastructure Development Committee is scheduled to discuss delays in road construction caused by problems related to the management of electricity distribution lines and utility poles. The meeting is also set to begin at 10:00 am.
