KATHMANDU: GP Timilsina, the ex-husband of former Miss Nepal Usha Khadgi, has been arrested.
According to the District Police Range, Bhaktapur, Timilsina was taken into custody on Tuesday following a complaint filed by Khadgi.
Khadgi had lodged a complaint accusing Timilsina of indecent behavior and harassment. After receiving the complaint, police summoned both parties on Monday and attempted to mediate the dispute.
However, Timilsina was arrested on Tuesday after the matter could not be resolved through discussion.
He is currently in custody at the District Police Range, Bhaktapur. Police said further investigation into the case is underway.
