Govt appoints Kiran Pandit as Deputy Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank



KATHMANDU: The government has appointed Kiran Pandit as a Deputy Governor of the Nepal Rastra Bank.

A Cabinet meeting held on Tuesday decided to appoint Pandit to one of the two vacant Deputy Governor positions at the central bank. Despite the appointment, one Deputy Governor post still remains vacant.

The two positions had remained vacant for the past one month following the completion of the tenures of Dr Neelam Dhungana and Bam Bahadur Mishra.
