JANAKPURDHAM: Police have arrested three people with a pistol and a magazine from Salokhari Dastol in Laxmipur Patari Rural Municipality-6, Siraha.
According to police, the arrests were made on Tuesday night while the suspects were returning from Phoolbari toward the village.
The arrested have been identified as 21-year-old Sanjay Das and 20-year-old Gurudev Das, both of Lahan Municipality-22, and 20-year-old Sarbajit Das of Laxmipur Patari Rural Municipality-6, Siraha.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Ramesh Bahadur Pal of the District Police Office, Siraha, said police recovered a pistol and a magazine from the suspects.
Further investigation into the case is underway, DSP Pal said.
