Gold price rises by Rs 4,200 per tola



KATHMANDU: Prices of both gold and silver increased in the domestic market on Wednesday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold rose by Rs 4,200 per tola to reach Rs 288,000 per tola. On the previous trading day, gold was traded at Rs 283,800 per tola.

Similarly, the price of silver increased by Rs 95 per tola to Rs 4,475 per tola. Silver had closed at Rs 4,380 per tola on Tuesday.

According to international market reports, gold was being traded at around $4,127 per ounce, while silver was priced at approximately $60 per ounce.
