Vote counting for Kathmandu’s 10 constituencies likely to start tonight



KATHMANDU: Vote counting for all 10 constituencies in Kathmandu district is expected to begin from Thursday night.

Ballot boxes are currently being transported from polling centers to the designated counting locations. Once all boxes reach the counting centers, officials plan to start counting as early as Thursday evening.

The counting centers for the constituencies are as follows:

Constituency 1: Cooperative Department

Constituency 2: Kageshwor Manohara Municipality

Constituency 3: Chamunda Secondary School, Narayanthar

Constituency 4: Budhanilkantha Municipality-2, Senior Citizens Office

Constituency 5: Shri Samaj Bhawan, Tokha Municipality-5

Constituency 6: Tarkeshwor Municipality, Dharmasthali

Constituency 7: Judo Hall, Naya Bazaar

Constituency 8: Jan Uddhar Secondary School, Harisiddhi, Kathmandu

Constituency 9: Chandragiri Municipality, Balambu

Constituency 10: Tribhuvan University, Smriti Bhawan, Kirtipur

Authorities are working to ensure that the counting process begins smoothly and without delays.
