KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress General Secretary Guru Ghimire has said other political parties should learn from the transformation and generational transition undertaken by the Nepali Congress.
Addressing the inaugural ceremony of the party’s 15th General Convention, Ghimire said the Nepali Congress had changed in response to the sentiments and expectations of the people.
He said party leaders and members are enthusiastic at present and expressed commitment to move the party forward by bringing together five generations.
Ghimire urged people not to be confused about the changes within the Nepali Congress and called for everyone to move forward together with the transformed party.
“The Nepali Congress has changed. Let us all move forward together with the transformed Nepali Congress,” Ghimire said. “I urge my colleagues to participate enthusiastically in the General Convention. Please do not be misled by confusion anywhere.”
