Sudan Kirati resigns from Pragatisheel Loktantrik Party



KATHMANDU: Sudan Kirati, a member of the leadership council of the Pragatisheel Loktantrik Party, has resigned from his position.

Kirati submitted his resignation during a meeting of the party’s leadership council held on Wednesday.

Party sources confirmed that Kirati has stepped down from the post. However, his resignation has not yet been formally approved.

Kirati had joined the Pragatisheel Loktantrik Party after leaving the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist Centre) when the party merged with other political forces including the CPN (Unified Socialist).
