Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has published the foreign currency exchange rates for today (Saturday), showing an increase in the value of most major currencies, including the US dollar, euro, pound sterling, Kuwaiti dinar, and Bahraini dinar.

However, a few currencies, such as the Australian dollar, have slightly depreciated.

The euro, which had been declining for the past two days, has shown an upward trend today.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar today is NPR 136.63, while the selling rate is NPR 137.23. In comparison, yesterday’s rates were NPR 136.52 for buying and NPR 137.12 for selling.

Similarly, the euro is trading at NPR 154.83 for buying and NPR 155.51 for selling today, up from yesterday’s rates of NPR 154.07 and NPR 154.75, respectively.

The British pound is being bought at NPR 184.11 and sold at NPR 184.92 today, compared to yesterday’s buying and selling rates of NPR 183.86 and NPR 184.67.

The Australian dollar has weakened slightly, with a buying rate of NPR 87.73 and a selling rate of NPR 88.12 today. Yesterday, the respective rates were NPR 87.87 and NPR 88.26.

Likewise, the Kuwaiti dinar is being bought at NPR 445.32 and sold at NPR 447.28, up from NPR 444.60 and NPR 446.56 yesterday.

The Bahraini dinar is trading at a buying rate of NPR 362.41 and a selling rate of NPR 364.01, slightly higher than yesterday’s rates of NPR 362.12 and NPR 363.71.
