Hearing on writ petitions against HoR dissolution to begin today



KATHMANDU: The Supreme Court (SC) is set to begin hearings today on 16 writ petitions filed against the dissolution of the House of Representatives.

According to Supreme Court spokesperson Arjun Prasad Koirala, the court will conduct a preliminary hearing on the petitions that seek injunction and mandamus orders against the appointment of the Prime Minister, as well as the annulment of the House dissolution and the restoration of Parliament.
