CHITWAN: A teenage girl was killed in a road accident in Madi Municipality. The deceased has been identified as 18-year-old Priti Pariyar of Madi Municipality-8, Kharkatta.
The bus (Bagmati Province 06-001 B 0204), en route from Bharatpur to Madi-Thori, hit Pariyar near her house while she was walking. According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Rabindra Khanal of the District Police Office, she died on the spot.
Police have arrested the driver of the bus involved in the accident.
