25 arrested with drugs from various locations



KATHMANDU: A total of 25 individuals have been arrested from different parts of the country in connection with drug-related offenses.

According to the Central Police Newsroom, two individuals were arrested from Kathmandu Metropolitan City-7 with 305 tramadol tablets. Similarly, two others were apprehended from Mitranagar, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-26.

One person was arrested from Kalika Municipality-2 in Chitwan, and two from Madi Municipality-6. In Kailali, one individual was taken into custody from Baluwatar, Tikapur Municipality-9.

In Sunsari, three individuals were arrested from Baschowk in Inaruwa Municipality-4. Meanwhile, four people were apprehended from Hotel Dolakha Darshan in Mude, Lisangkhu Pakhar Rural Municipality-5 in Sindhupalchowk, in possession of brown heroin.

Additionally, six individuals were arrested from Dumre, Urlabari Municipality-2 in Morang. One person was detained from Kakarbhitta–Bahundangi Road in Mechinagar Municipality-6.

Police also arrested two individuals from Jitpursimara Sub-metropolitan City-21 in Bara, and two from Fenhara Chowk in Bishnu Rural Municipality-5, Sarlahi. One person was apprehended with 30 kilograms of narcotics from Ratmate, Gajuri Rural Municipality-2 in Dhading, and another from Madhuban Municipality-6 in Bardiya.
