Government committed to timely election: PM Karki



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister (PM) Sushila Karki has affirmed that the government is committed to holding the upcoming House of Representatives election on schedule.

In her Dashain greetings message issued on Monday, Prime Minister Karki stated that the current government was established on the foundation of the Gen-Z Protest, and it remains dedicated to fulfilling its mandate, including conducting the election on time.

She also reiterated the government’s commitment to promoting good governance across all levels.

Extending her best wishes on the occasion of Bada Dashain, Prime Minister Karki wished peace, happiness, and prosperity to all Nepali brothers and sisters at home and abroad.

Meanwhile, according to the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, Prime Minister Karki will not receive Dashain Tika nor offer Tika to the public this year.
