Vice President urges greater collaboration for effective implementation of Constitution

KATHMANDU: Vice President Ram Sahaya Prasad Yadav has stressed the need for patience, dialogue, and collaboration, along with a stronger commitment to upholding, protecting, and effectively implementing the Constitution.

Extending his best wishes on the occasion of Bijaya Dashami, the Vice President expressed hope that the festival would inspire people to uphold constitutional rights, civic freedoms, and inclusive representation.

“I hope Bijaya Dashami motivates us all to stand against untruth, injustice, and the growing polarization in society. May this festival foster self-reflection, social responsibility, and national unity, and guide us along the path of truth, good conduct, humanity, and tolerance,” he said in his message.

Highlighting Nepal’s rich cultural and religious diversity, Vice President Yadav described festivals as key drivers of unity, social harmony, spiritual awareness, and cultural identity. He added that such celebrations help strengthen traditional values, social cohesion, and ultimately contribute to national unity and recognition.
