President to address both Houses of Parliament on May 2



KATHMANDU: President Ram Chandra Poudel is scheduled to address the joint sessions of both houses of the Federal Parliament on May 2.

Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Prithvi Subba Gurung, informed the media that the President’s address will take place at 3 PM on that day.

Minister Gurung also shared that a meeting of the Cabinet held on Monday evening also approved the foreign visits of ministers and secretaries.

He added that the Cabinet held general discussions regarding the ongoing teachers’ agitation.

He assured that continuous dialogue is being held to address the teachers’ demands and expressed confidence that the issue will be resolved by tomorrow.
