RPP calls meeting to review Tinkune protest



KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has convened a meeting of its central working committee to review the royalist protest organized by the Joint People’s Movement Committee in Tinkune on Friday.

According to RPP spokesperson Mohan Shrestha, the meeting will take place at the party’s central office on Saturday at 3 pm to review recent developments and determine the party’s stance.

The meeting follows the arrest of RPP Senior Vice President Rabindra Mishra and General Secretary Dhawal Shamsher Rana, who were detained on Friday evening for participating in the protests.
