Royalists attempt attack on Madhav Nepal’s house



KATHMANDU: A royalist group has attempted to attack the residence of Madhav Nepal, the chair of the Unified Socialist Party of Nepal.

A member of Nepal’s secretariat confirmed the incident, stating, “A car was burned near the house, but it is unclear whose car it was.”

The member further added, “There was an attempt to attack, but no significant damage occurred. Police have been deployed to ensure security.” Authorities are investigating the situation as tensions rise due to the ongoing protests.
