Vehicles stopped at Kavre as royalist protests turn violent

KAVRE: Police have blocked vehicles trying to enter Kathmandu from Kavre via the BP Highway after royalist protests in the region turned violent.

According to journalist Saroj Shree Adhikari, police have stopped all vehicles at Bhakundebeshi in Kavre, preventing their entry into the capital.

The move comes as tensions rise following clashes between royalist protesters and security forces, with the situation becoming increasingly chaotic. The blockade has disrupted traffic and heightened concerns about further violence in the area.
