KATHMANDU: World Cup-winning Italian goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon is set to arrive in Nepal on Sunday to attend the third edition of the KP Oli Cup football final.
The event, organized by the National Youth Association Nepal, will take place at Dasharath Stadium on Monday, where Buffon will be the chief guest.
Buffon who is remembered for this time at Italian giants Juventus also shared his excitement through a video message, addressing fans in Nepali.
“Hello everyone. This is Gigi Buffon. I will be coming as the chief guest for the KP Oli Cup final in the first week of March. See you all there,” he said.
