Every citizen should work honestly for nation, RPP Chair Lingden says

JHAPA: Chair of Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Rajendra Lingden has said that the present situation of the country was the result of major political parties’ failure to meet the public expectation in nation building.

Lingden made such remarks as the government with two-thirds majority was toppled from the Gen Z Movement.

At a meeting in Birtamod of Jhapa district organized on Saturday, Lingden said that the incidents happened on September 9 exposed the sorry state of state mechanisms.

“Our views made during that time were neglected and now the mainstream political parties have regretted for turning a deaf ear to our comments,” he added.

On the occasion, Lingden claimed that his party has offered an alternative political way and added that the country could move ahead in the development path in five years if every citizen worked with honesty for the nation.
