NPL: Two matches set for today

KATHMANDU: Two exciting fixtures are lined up in Kathmandu today as the second edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) continues, featuring clashes between Lumbini Lions and Sudurpaschim Royals, and Janakpur Bolts and Pokhara Avengers.

The first match will begin at 11:45 a.m., followed by the second at 4:00 p.m., both at the Tribhuvan University Cricket Stadium.

Lumbini, led by Rohit Kumar Poudel, will be aiming to defeat Sudurpaschim. With only one win from three matches, Lumbini currently sits in sixth place on the points table.

Sudurpaschim, captained by Dipendra Singh Airee, tops the table with four consecutive victories and has accumulated six points.
