Over 12 million votes counted under PR system so far



KATHMANDU: A total of 10,205,625 votes have been counted so far under the proportional representation (PR) system.

According to details released by the Election Commission as of 3:30 am, the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has received the highest number of votes with 4,905,614.

Similarly, the Nepali Congress has received 1,658,580 votes, while the CPN-UML has secured 1,379,758 votes. The Nepali Communist Party has received 740,819 votes, the Shram Sanskriti Party has secured 340,674 votes, and the Rastriya Prajatantra Party has received 320,277 votes.

Likewise, the Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal has secured 160,824 votes, the Rastriya Pariwartan Party has received 160,646 votes, and the Janamat Party has secured 74,905 votes. Vote counting is ongoing.
