Crowds at Gongabu Bus Park as people return to their villages

KATHMANDU: The major festival of Dashain is just around the corner, and crowds of people leaving the Kathmandu Valley are already visible at roads and bus parks.

Due to the Gen-Z protests, poor road conditions, and other factors, advance ticket bookings were not opened this year. As a result, passengers have had to face difficulties at the new bus park.

At the new bus park, travelers are waiting for hours to board buses. Many passengers returning to their hometowns from their workplaces expressed frustration over the lack of advance booking options amid the festival rush.
