Gold price rises by Rs 1,300



KATHMANDU: The price of gold in Nepal has surged by Rs 1,300 per tola on Thursday, reaching Rs 174,800 per tola, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association.

This marks a significant jump from the previous day’s rate of Rs 173,500 per tola.

Similarly, the price of silver has also witnessed an increase of Rs 30 per tola. On Wednesday, silver was priced at Rs 1,990 per tola, but it has now risen to Rs 2,020 per tola.

The rising prices of precious metals are in line with global market trends, where economic uncertainties and fluctuating currency values continue to influence gold and silver rates.
